Saturday. It seems to come quite regularly after Friday.
Friday? Saturday? Weekday?
As Pablo Neruda perhaps would have said ‘Too many names’. But punctuation of time is as old as humankind itself . The Mayan calendar may have been substituted by the Gregorian, and then, the Gregorian by the Cricket Season (sorry for the anglo-centric view) or the School Holidays. One way or another, we still need different days, different times, different seasons. No seasons, no transitions. No transitions, no awareness. ‘There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens’, says The Good Book.
Too philosophical for a Saturday morning?
From past Thoughts:
One of the most tweeted: The shortest Employee Engagement survey has one question
An old one with lots of email traffic: We are so good at crisis
One of my favourite poems: The things you don’t have to say make you rich
Have a great week end!
Enjoy this time out.
